Effective Date: September 7, 2026
KitchenPro Service ("KitchenPro", "we", "us") is run by RR KitchenPro Private Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka. We arrange doorstep repair and servicing of kitchen appliances, and we sell spare parts. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
It applies to our website (kitchenproservice.app), the KitchenPro Service app for customers, the KitchenPro Partner app for technicians, and the KitchenPro B2B app for dealers. Where a section applies only to one of them, it says so. Please read it with our Terms and Conditions.
1. What we collect
1.1 Your account
- Phone number — every account is verified with a one-time code sent by SMS. It is how we reach you about a booking.
- Name, and an email address if you give one or sign in with Google (Google shares your name, email and profile picture with us for that).
- Profile photo (optional). A customer's photo may be shown to the technician coming to their home, and a technician's photo is shown to the customer.
1.2 Your bookings and orders
- The service address you save, the appliance and the problem you describe, the time slot you choose, and any photos you add to a booking.
- Your booking history, the parts fitted, the bill, your invoices, and any complaint or warranty claim you raise.
- Ratings and feedback you give on a job.
1.3 Location
With your permission, the app reads your device location only while you are using it. We never collect location in the background.
- Customers: to place your service address on the map and to show you the technician on the way during an active booking. You can always type the address instead.
- Technicians: while you are online and on a job, your location is shared with the customer so they can see you coming, and with our office for assignment and attendance. Going offline stops it.
1.4 Camera and photos
With your permission we use the camera and photo library so you can add a profile photo, photograph an appliance or a fault, and scan barcodes. Photos are kept for the job they belong to.
1.5 Payments
Online payments are handled by our payment providers (see section 3). We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or netbanking password. We keep the record of what was paid, when, and the payment reference we receive, because that is your receipt.
1.6 Your device
- Device model, operating system and app version, and an identifier that keeps you signed in and helps us find a fault when you report one.
- A push notification token, if you allow notifications, so we can tell you when a technician is assigned or an order moves.
- Integrity checks (Google Play Integrity / Apple DeviceCheck through Firebase App Check) that confirm requests come from the genuine app. These protect your account from abuse.
1.7 Dealers (KitchenPro B2B)
A trade account holds your business name, GSTIN, PAN where given, the contact person's name and number, and your shipping address, along with your trade orders, invoices and credit. We check the GSTIN you enter against the government GST portal through a verification provider, so that trade invoices carry the right details.
1.8 Technicians (KitchenPro Partner)
When you apply to work with us you give us your identity and address documents, a selfie, your bank account for payouts, and the services and areas you cover. While you work, we record your attendance, the jobs you do, the parts issued to you, your earnings and payouts, and the photos you take on a job.
1.9 Messages and support
We keep the messages we send you (WhatsApp, SMS, push) and the notes of your calls and chats with our support desk, so the next person who helps you knows what happened.
2. Why we use it
- To take your booking or order, assign a technician, and get the work done at your address.
- To tell you what is happening — confirmation, technician assigned, on the way, done, invoice ready.
- To bill you, take payment, issue invoices and, for dealers, keep your trade account.
- To run rewards you take part in: KitchenPro Cash, coupons, referrals and dealer credit.
- To keep the platform safe — verifying phones and GSTINs, spotting fraud and abuse, and protecting technicians and customers.
- To answer your questions and resolve complaints.
- To meet our legal duties, including tax and accounting records.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not show third-party advertising, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on our website or in our apps.
3. Who we share it with
We share only what each party needs to do its job.
| Who | What, and why |
|---|---|
| Your technician | Your name, phone number, service address and the booking details, so they can reach you and do the work. Customers see the technician's name, photo and phone number for the same reason. |
| Google Firebase | Sign-in, our database, push notifications, app integrity checks and website hosting. |
| Razorpay | Card, UPI, netbanking and wallet payments in the app, and technician payouts. |
| Zoho Books | Our accounts: invoices, payment links and payment records. Your name, phone, address and, for dealers, your GSTIN appear on the invoice. |
| Cloudinary | Storing and serving photos — product images, profile photos and job photos. |
| Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) | Delivering the WhatsApp messages you have agreed to receive — booking and order updates, and offers. Reply STOP to any offer message to stop marketing on WhatsApp. |
| SMS and voice providers | Delivering the one-time code that signs you in, and connecting support calls. |
| Google Maps | Finding and showing addresses on a map. |
| GST verification provider | Checking a dealer's GSTIN against the government portal (dealers only). |
| The law | When a court, the police or a regulator requires it, or to protect the safety of our users, technicians and business. |
These providers process data on our instructions and under their own security commitments. Some of them run their services outside India; where they do, your data is protected by their contracts with us.
4. Messages, and how to stop them
- Booking and order updates are part of the service — we send them by push notification, SMS or WhatsApp.
- Offers go out on WhatsApp only to people who have given us their number as a customer or dealer. Reply STOP to any offer message and we stop.
- Push notifications can be switched off in your phone's settings at any time.
5. How long we keep it, and deleting your account
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. Invoices, payment records and tax records are kept for as long as Indian tax and company law requires, even after an account is deleted.
You can delete your account whenever you like:
- In the app: Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account. A one-time code confirms it is you.
- On the web: our Account Deletion page.
- By email: write to support@kitchenproservice.app from the email or phone on the account.
On deletion we remove your profile, saved addresses and sign-in, and we anonymise or delete the rest, except the records the law makes us keep. Any unused KitchenPro Cash, credit or reward is forfeited on deletion.
6. Security
Everything travels over HTTPS. Access to your data inside KitchenPro is limited to the people who need it for their work, and our apps check that requests come from a genuine copy of the app. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever find that your data has been exposed, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
7. Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will remove it.
8. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, you can:
- see the personal information we hold about you, and have it corrected — most of it you can edit yourself under Profile;
- have your account and data deleted (section 5);
- withdraw a permission you gave — location, camera, notifications — from your phone's settings, and stop WhatsApp offers by replying STOP;
- raise a grievance with us about how your data is handled. Write to the contact below; we aim to reply within seven working days.
9. Cookies and the website
Our website uses only the storage it needs to keep you signed in and remember what is in your cart. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
10. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. If a change matters to how we use your data, we will also tell you in the app.
